I’ve decided I’m making a comeback with this blog. And I mean business (but in that fun, not intensely serious kind of way).
A lot has happened in the past year. I started this blog to talk about my semester abroad in Melbourne, Australia – well, obviously I’m not there anymore, but it was the best experience of my life and more travelling since has occurred!
I finished that semester on a road trip from Sydney where I stayed with my often mentioned friend, Allie, to Melbourne via Baranduda, Ashleigh’s home town in Victoria. 4 of us girls (the one not mentioned: Rhian) driving around together was a lovely way to end my time in Australia. I flew back to England on this exact date last year.
Since, I’ve gone to the USA, – Boston and New York – Paris, and this past May I went to USA again (I’m not running out of ideas, I promise, I just have an American boyfriend!) and Canada, adding Vermont, the Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal to the memories.
So with all this to post about (which will all come flying at you in the next week or two), I’ve given Kirsten does Oz a makeover. Now not exclusively Australia, welcome to Kirsten does Oz & more! Pages like ‘Postcard Perfect’ and ‘Wish list’ have been added as well as doing regular blog posts. More to come as ideas flow!
I’d also like to thank and give credit to my Canadian friend Monika who took the amazing picture that’s the new header on the blog. It’s of Loch Ard Gorge on the Great Ocean Road – I had to retain some more Aussie themes, of course ;)
