In Pictures: Oregon, USA

You might have guessed by now – exhibit A, exhibit B, exhibit Cexhibit D – that I found Oregon stunning. It’s not a place you’ll often find in Top 10/20/whatever lists of destinations you should see in the world, or possibly not even the US.

But let me tell you something: Oregon is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever set foot on. Oregon is the cool guy who’s just doing his own thing, being himself, but ‘himself’ happens to be drop dead gorgeous. ‘Himself’ doesn’t care that California takes the west coast spotlight; Oregon’s just living life.

The way I feel about Oregon when I think back now is genuinely a bit like if I’ve been really craving bacon, or crisps (chips to my American readers) and I have my first bite after a long time. Essentially, exactly what you need, but still taken aback at the wonderful feeling (ok, sorry guys, I just really like bacon).

So, while I go eat said bacon or crisps, enjoy my pictures of the highlights of Oregon. :)
