Travel in the Home: Print Instagram Photos & GIVEAWAY

Decorating a house or apartment is probably one of the things that convinces me I could never become a true digital nomad and travel full-time. Maybe it sounds silly, but I’m actually kind of serious. I love having a place of my own and being able to use the space to reflect my personality and create a happy, comfortable environment.

This only increased when my sister bought her first house. When I was back in London, I loved going to visit her house because she has styled it so well. One of the things I loved is that she displays the photos of her travels – of which she’s had many (as is the Powley way!).

So when Cheerz contacted me, a company that will print your Facebook and Instagram photos in a variety of different ways, I could hardly say no. I had just moved to Toronto, so it was the perfect timing and idea to show off some travel photos. There’s also a giveaway, which you can enter at the bottom of the post!

There are a variety of products, which you can view on their site; strips, polaroid prints, magnets, posters, or the very tempting La Boîte À Photos, which includes polaroid prints, string, sellotape, pegs and photo corners.

All you do is download the Cheerz app, choose your product, link it with either your Instagram or your Facebook and get selecting!

You can choose more than one of a particular photo, and add text underneath if you so wish. I was surprised how incredibly simple it was to use. I usually hate doing things via my phone screen but this was big and clear as well as aesthetically pleasing to make the crafting enjoyable.

I chose my Instagram as it’s there I have my best photos, and the photos I think would look best as a polaroid style. I decided against adding any text as I wanted the choice to make it even more personalised and just use a sharpie instead. You know, Taylor Swift 1989-style. (I have yet to do this as I don’t quite trust myself not to screw it up yet).

I’m very picky with how I want my apartment to look, so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted. After finding some of my own pegs and string at stationary and overall wonderful craft shop, Michael’s, I began work on a photo display above our piano.

Et voila! Here is the finished product:

40 photos is actually quite a lot, so I’ve saved some to include in other displays and I want a couple on the fridge (once I get around to buying fridge magnets…).

I’m quite happy with the result, and it’s lovely to have something to look at and get some perspective on how lucky I’ve been to go on all these adventures.

Giveaway time!

How would you like to get some of your own photos printed off?

Cheerz have been kind enough to give away 3 x £20 vouchers for your choice of any of their products.

This is only open to residents of the EU I’m afraid. You can enter a variety of ways using Rafflecopter below. The more ways you enter, the more likely you are to win! Giveaway ends 11:59pm (GMT) on Sunday 21st November and I’ll be announcing the winners shortly after that on Sunday 22nd.

Good luck!

Disclaimer: Cheerz didn’t pay me but sent me photos for free in return for writing a post and hosting a giveaway. All views my own, and I only accept product posts when I truly love the product, think it stays true to my blog style and think it will benefit readers. And obviously a giveaway could benefit you ;)
